As a military service member or family, you stood strong and served our country. Now it’s our turn to serve you. At Faraday Health, we are proud to offer a variety of treatment options for depression and mood disorders to our Veterans and their family members.

Faraday Health is a private clinical provider that is credentialed with the Veterans Administration to coordinate a variety of scientifically-backed treatment options throughout Tennessee for Veterans in need. Not long ago, Veterans were only able to access government funded care through the VA health system facilities. Taking effect in 2019, the Veteran Community Care (VA MISSION Act), gives Veterans access to private sector health care.

As a Veteran, you are able to take full advantage of our therapies and receive an expedited experience with minimal red tape. Our streamlined process allows us to act with urgency on every military patient referral we receive.

Expanding Access to Treatment

Through the MISSION Act, veterans have greater access to health care. Now, Veterans are empowered to recieve the care they need, on their own terms.

Easily connect to care at Faraday

Veterans have easy access to receive TMS and ketamine therapy at our offices. We are required to have a referral from the VA to provide services. Contacting your local VA Psychiatrist/Psychologist for a referral/authorization sent to us to initiate therapy at Faraday Health is how to get started..

Veterans can easily get connected with Faraday Health in a few simple steps:

  • Schedule an appointment with a VA primary care physician, psychiatrist or other doctor. The mental health phone numbers for both areas are listed below

    • Nashville VA phone number – call 615-873-7450
    • Chattanooga VA phone number – call 615-225-3720 or 423-893-6500.

  • Ask for a referral to Faraday for TMS or ketamine treatment through the MISSION Act’s approved non-VA medical providers program.

  • Once connected with your VA care team to see if you are eligible for the Mission Act, provide your care team with our clinic phone number for the location that is closest to you:

    • Nashville Faraday office: (615) 814-6650
    • Chattanooga Faraday office: (423) 825-8500

  • Make an appointment with Faraday Health. We’ll receive your referral and connect with the VA throughout your treatment.

  • Receive care at a Faraday Health location.

Depression and Veterans

While Veterans only make up 7% of the American Population, they account for 20% of suicides. The rate of depression in active-duty military is 23% versus 8.4% of the general population in the US. At Faraday, we work passionately to reduce the levels of depression and rate of suicide for everyone – especially Veterans – through innovative treatment for depression, PTSD, and other mood disorders.
